Welcome to Whimoir, a personal journaling and memory app. By creating an account or using Whimoir, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Whimoir. Users under 16 may use the app with parental consent.
• By creating an account, you confirm that the information provided is accurate.

Account Registration

• Users can sign up via email/password, Google, or Apple login.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
• Whimoir (powered by Supabase) may send you service-related notifications.

Subscriptions & Payments

• Whimoir offers monthly and yearly subscriptions via Apple In-App Purchases (IAP).
• Payments are processed securely by Apple; Whimoir does not directly store payment details.
• Each plan provides access for one year and does not auto-renew. You may restore previous purchases on the same Apple ID through the “Restore Purchases” option.
• Refunds are handled according to Apple’s refund policy.

Use of the App

You agree not to:

• Upload or share content that is illegal, offensive, harmful, or infringes on copyrights.
• Attempt to hack, misuse, or interfere with Whimoir’s systems.
• Use Whimoir for commercial purposes without written consent.

Content ownership

• Your Content: Journals, memories, and images you create remain yours.
• By using Whimoir, you grant us limited rights to store and process your data solely for app functionality.
• We do not claim ownership over your content.

Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts if users violate these Terms.
• You may delete your account anytime, which will remove your data from our active systems (subject to backup retention).

Third-Party Services

• Whimoir uses Supabase for authentication & database storage.
• Authentication is supported by Google and Apple.
• Subscriptions are managed by Apple IAP.

These third-party services have their own terms you must comply with.

Limitation of Liability

• Whimoir is provided “as is” without warranties.
• We are not responsible for loss of data, service outages, or damages caused by unauthorized access.

Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Any disputes will be handled under Indian jurisdiction.
